At these meetings coordinated by Eduardo Arenas M.D. (Colombia) and Guillermo Avalos M.D. (Mexico), and with the participation of the best experts on refractive surgery, the most difficult cases in this speciality are discussed. The first complications club meeting was held after the 1st LASIK American Course in Tampa (USA) in March 1996, with the idea of publicising this meeting prior to the American Academy of Ophthalmology. |
